I just purchased a 2005 Expedition Eb Edition with the Rear Seat Entertainment.
I was trying to use the DVD and noticed that it did not have power. I located fuse 4 which is supposed to control the DVD and the rear audio controls.... it was blown. I replaced the fuse and it popped instantly. Any ideas, has anyone else had this issue?
Welcome to FTE! First thing I would do is disconnect power at the DVD player then replace fuse. If it blows again, you have a good idea that there is a short in the wiring between the fuse box and the DVD player. If it doesn't blow, then you have a problem with the DVD player. What else does the #4 fuse operate? Do the same if other electronics are on that circuit. Is it a factory DVD set up or aftermarket?
