1986 Ford Bronco

My older brother has a Ford Bronco we are trying to get rid of, however the thing has not run in a couple years. I put a new battery in it and solenoid cause it was burned out or something. After I got all that done I go to turn it over and it will try to start and almost gets there then goes back to just the starter turning it over. If i restart that process it will do it all day until the starter burns out, just will not start. I checked to see if it has fuel from the valve at the top of the engine, it had fuel at that point. Normally I hear the fuel pump in the tank turn on when i turn the key on, im not hearing it right now but i have fuel at the the top of the engine. I went on to check spark plugs and all those are good, i tested to see if they were getting spark and they are on my 1989 F-150 with the same engine, on the Bronco they dont. I also replaced the distributor piece below the cap, (cant remember the name right now ) and all spark plug wires. Anything else that can cause it?

Bronco Specs:
1986
5.0l, 4x4/C6

could be the coil, or the ignition control module, No spark=no start

Just having fuel at the rail isn't enough. Fuel pressure needs to be a minimum of 35-40 psi at the Schrader valve on the fuel rail.

I'll second vtjvt's suggestion that you could have a dead ignition coil.

The nice thing is you don't have to guess with an EFI-equipped engine. Run a KOEO test and see what comes up.
