got a new problem and looking for advice

My 2000 expy will not start. its done this before when a relay under the hood came loose but it always fixed by pushing it in firmly. now all relays are tight and ive switched them out and the solenoid still isnt getting any power to it. the battery is fully charged. i tried to cross the posts on the solenoid but it doesnt spark. it does make a clicking noise near the solenoid. any ideas? please help.

First check and clean the battery posts and all of the electrical connections for being clean and tight.

Replace the solenoid? They do go bad. You said nothing happened when you made a connection between the terminals. Well, something should have happened, sparks, starter turning over.

Did you check down by the starter? Sometimes that wire can corrode. Happened to my '00 Expy. There is a small red terminal cover that can harbor road salt and water and corrodes so bad the wire corrodes and becomes loose.

found the problem. there was a bare wire with ice leading from it to the fender well. it was grounding out and wouldnt let the truck start. But thanks for all the advise.
