Fuel pump delay?
I just rebuilt the engine on my 79' F150 4x4 400M and went with a quiet gear drive (glad I didn't go with the noisy version) instead of a timing chain, so the mechanical fuel pump had to go. I went with a carter electric pump to feed my AFB and would prefer to have the pump kick on after the engine starts? I was thinking of using a low oil pressure switch to do this. I've used a toggle switch on another vehicle in the past but would like something a little more automatic.
