Used to own a Bronco, and long story short, it was killed in an accident that ripped the fiberglass top right off. Luckily back then, no kids in the back seat, which would have been awful since the rear seat belts attach to that top...
Thinking of getting another, have a line on a couple 1996 models that have little to no rust, but I have 3 kids now, so the only way i would feel safe putting them back there is if i had a 'roll cage' of some kind installed, under the top so it's not visble from outside, but something i can re-mount the seatbelt upper mounts on as well as may integrate with a soft top option in the future.
Those you you on this group a lot have probably seen some options, so appreciate any guidance...trying to make a purchase decision this week and would have to proceed with modification soon after if it works out, so thanks!!
