2001 heavyhalf question
Hey im new to the scene here..Admittedly am a GM/Chev lover have been since I could drive im 36 now..Anyhoo I just bought a 2001 extended cab 4x4 heavyhalf f150..This truck just drinks gas I mean she is a pig almost 30 dollars CAD in 3 days of use in town..I havnt had a truck that bad on gas since my 79 blazer sitting on 35s running my blown out 327(the 327 is sitting in my workshop for an upcoming project)Guess my question is Is there any way to make this truck cheaper on gas..Am I missing something here..Im actually starting to like my first ford truck but I was hoping to drive her daily but the way it stands either I make her cheaper on gas or ill have to sell her....any help please and thx

$30 CDN a day doesn't say anything. In Vancouver gas is $1.229 a Liter. That $30 is 6.45 US gallons. At 15 MPG you should be able to drive 96 miles or 155 KM. That is good for city/ Hwy combined. I doubt your 327 got that but I could be wrong.
