i have a 2000 ford ranger with the 3.0l flexfuel v6 in it and 140xxx miles the truck has always been real reliable and haven't had any problems till now when all the sudden my check engine light came on and i let the truck idle and it seems to be running way to rich and my rpms will start to drop until the point that the engine will die. i took it up to auto zone and had the codes scanned and i got 8 codes they were p0155(heated oxygen sensor bank 1 sensor 1) p0141(heated oxygen sensor bank 1 sensor 2)p0135(heated oxygen sensor bank 2 sensor 1)p1409(vacuum regulator circuit fault)p1132(lack of bank 1 02 transitions- rich)p1152 (lack of o2 switches- bank 2 sensor 1- rich) p0176 (the pcm has determined that a malfunction exist in electrical circuit for fuel composition sensor) and finally p1451 (evap system canister vent solenoid circuit malfunction) i know that all these sensors didn't just go out at once and really need to know what the problem is so i can fix it. any help would greatly appreciated
i just replaced all 3 o2s put new fuel filter, plugs and wires. now it will actually idle but it still is running rich and are getting codes still for all the o2s,fuel compensation sensor, and a code that says the factory emission settings are malfunctioning. the only thing i can think of now is either the fuel pressure regulator or the compensation sensor but i don't really want to replace anything else without some opinions so it wolud be greatly appreciated if i could get some help from you guys out there
thanks
