Hard to start
Hello, I have a 96 f250 with a 7.3. I am having a starting issue with it when it gets cold. The problem first started with these conditions. The truck would start idle or run for about ten minutes then the wait to start light would start to flash along with the number 2 relay inside the pdc would chatter nd then it would shut off. if you tried to restart right away it would not, but you could wait about ten min then it restart with same problem. I have replaced all glow plugs,valve cover gaskets with inside wiring,fuel filter,solenoid on top right valve cover,checked wiring back to pdc best i could. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

fordpride, i haven't pulled codes yet didn't know if it would have any due to no check engine light but will have it checked thank you. oldbird1965 pdc stands for power distribution center sorry fuse box under hood relay #2,thank you for replying

Well, when you said buzzing I thought of mine. Its inside the cab and does a quick buzz when the key is first turned on. This just started a few weeks ago and I still haven't figured it out. Its over by the door, seems lower then the interior fuse panel but I don't know for sure. As far as the codes, some are 'soft' codes and don't light the check engine light.
