4 speed OD question

4 speed OD question
Does anyone have a toploader 4 speed OD out of their 80's full size Bronco or F150 4X4 with the transfer case removed and can make some measurements for me. I need to know how long the output shaft is at the splines and the diameter of the shaft ahead of the splines. I'm looking to have a shaft resplined and the 2 wheel drive shaft I have is necked down too far ahead of the present splines to respline to 28 spline. I believe the 31 spline 4X4 shafts are a greater diameter ahead of the present 31 splines and might work. Thanks.
