Bed Loose - need help
His passenger side front bolt on his bed floor is loose (likely a deteriorated rubber grommet). Now he can lift the bed by hand about 2-3 inches. Every bump he goes over, the bed bounces and bangs against the frame.
When I look under it, there doesn't seem to be a practical spot to access the bolt through the frame. We can pull the tie-downs and bed liner and get to the carriage bolt that way but I'm not sure how that would help us b/c I still need to get on the nut.
Can anyone help me on this?
Also, am I right about the grommet/spacer deteriorating?

Rubber pad may have come off, The frame clip nut may have loosened or rusted.
Ace Hardware has a great selection of replacement items for that rubber pad if that is the issue(rubber, nylon, etc)
Maybe that bed has been off previously, and wasn't reinstalled correctly.
Dozens? Personally Have never had a problem with a Ford Truck Bed!
