391 crank wanted

I thought I had a 391 crank, at least Dad said we did, turned out all three of the large snout cranks we had aren't 391's. I've got a good cast 390 crank but would feel better about this build if there was a steel crank in there. My machinist will cut down the snout and get it ready for a reasonable price if I can find one. Otherwise, I'll just go cast route.

If anyone's got one laying around they want to sell, let me know. Thanks guys.

Nevermind guys, we've got a never been run cast 427 crank I'm going to use. It was in a complete 64 390 we got from vo tech. Assembled and disassembled a lot but never ran. Using the crank and rods, both are 64 427 according to numbers. Pretty good 50 dollar investment Dad made.

Try the 352 or 361 crank in a 427 block some time. It makes an unbeleivable 390 motor that will astound the competition. Actually it was called a 396 in NASCAR, an engine that Ford should have built for the street. You know, a small motor for your dad or your sister so they won't go too fast.
