Auto or standard. If its a standard you could put a toggle up under the dash and run in line with the clutch switch. Break the circuit and no start.

Hidden toggle switch that intecepts one of the CPS wires.
Hidden switch that intercepts one of the starter wires, won't even turn over.

whats the cps?i thought about the starter but this one is a manual transmission so i think you can push start it in second gear.i would like to spice in one of the computer wires,one with no to many amps .

CPS = Cam Position Sensor.
If you cut one of the wires, the computer won't get a signal and won't know how to fire the injectors. Basically.
It has 2 wires and is located on the lower front of the motor with it's wires going up to the top of the motor. Pretty easy to get to.

After reading and researching I think this is the best, a little expensive but worth it:
Cyclops Theft Avoidance Module

The two wires closer to the firewall are for the starter interrupt. So you can cut either one of them and put a switch in series.

Today I pulled into a yard sale to get some stuff loaded and the guy said to me, you can leave that rig parked with the keys in it and nobody would take it. I just said maybe so, then pointed at his 35' camper and told him I could pull three of them at the same time. He didn't say much after that!

That Cyclops is neat and all, but my switches are hidden and cost $5 - $10 to wire up.

I just discovered that if I leave my DIY high idle mod switch in the on position that it won't crank. I don't even get a click. I know I hooked it all up right and it works great.
Maybe it's screwing up the IVS signal that it wants to start?

I'll have to see if mine does that.
