Hi Gang,
I'm gonna go sunday to look at a 2000 excursion. limited, 44000 miles, diesel cd,dvd all the bells and whistles.
What should look for as possiable areas? Should i have them do a "car fax history report"? and just how accurate are they?
thanks larry
I used Car Fax for the first time in December when I bought a used Excursion. I think it's money well spent. For the $20 you get to use it for 30 days if you decide not to buy the one you're looking at and they came back with a comprehensive report.
You can also get the VIN and call the Ford warranty center. They will tell you if any of the 3/36 warranty is valid, when the warranty was registered, if there are any recalls against the VIN, etc. They are very nice people! Good luck, I love mine.
Michael
