Question about common problems/issues to look for
I'm looking at buying either a 2000 or 2001 Excursion v10 4x4 with anywhere from ~120-160k miles on it. My question is what are the common issues with these trucks that I need to look for? one is a XLT and the other is a limited..
Also what kind of real world MPG are you all getting out of them?
I don't really need an excursion - but I'm looking for a v8+ 4wd SUV for around $7000 and these trucks seem like the best value. I know the gas mileage is horrible - but I am only getting 16mpg out of my f150 and it's not nearly as big.
I realize all of my questions have probably been answered many times before but I really don't have the time (or access to internet access) to sit around and read a bunch of threads.
