1996 Common Problems
I'm considering buying one of these trucks. It has an auto trans, 7.3 PSD. only 120,000 miles however judging from the exterior appearance, they were not easy miles. What are some of the common problems with this engine / transmission combination. Do these engines have glow plug problems similar to the 7.3 IDI's? What about the oil pan rusting problem? Anybody ever run WMO in these engines? Also, will a 7.3 IDI 5spd transmission bolt up to this 7.3 PSD?
