I was wondering if anybody here knows if the doors on a regular cab and a crewcab were the same. I have a 2003 F350 crewcab with the 7.3 that Im in the process of redoing. Im replacing the passenger box side and the drivers door as well as adding Top Gun bumpers front and back (front end replacement). My dillemma is finding a rust free drivers door. My truck is currently in the shop and they decided to weld a patch on, as the 3 doors they recieved from the junk yard were as bad or worse than mine. I found an 04 door rust free about an hour from me, but the guy doesnt know what its off from, or whether there is a difference. I really dont want any rust repair patches as in my experience, its just a matter of time before it rusts out again. Anybody have any knowledge on whether they are the same door or not? the superduty doors are all the same .

 

$200-$250 per door all day long rust free on craigslist. usually ads are in the major metro areas. If not 1 week, check again and they pop up.

 

Thanks for the info. I found one for $350, but theres probably some wiggle room. I want to get the door for the shop asap so that im not holding up progress.
