WOT No Power - Engine warm - solved.
Had a series of very cold days recently, but today was just at freezing.
No problems starting, (hardly any white smoke), no shaking in seat as was starting in 5F as I mentioned earlier.
Long after engine was fully warmed up (7 miles or more), suddenly, had a bout of WOT and no power.
Without stopping, I tried to jimmy the throttle a bit, and after a few tries things returned to normal.
Did a bunch of WOT runs after, with no problems.
Previously had a P0069 code that I erased last nite.
No codes this time, nothing.
Hypothesis:
Carbon jamming, could be valves (intake and exhaust), or EGR, or EBPj
Solved by reving motor.
Afterwards, everything appear normal.
Could not rule out wax dropout, but probally not gelling, as today was warm.
My plan is to drain this tank (used about 8oz of Dieselkleen), and then, to try a different brand --- Shell Premium Diesel.
Will keep everyone posted.
