The throwout bearing is not the issue with our system. It is the slave cylinder and the pivot setup...

The whole system works different, and they dont bolt on.

They work just like a regular throw out, but expand like a cylinder.

And the m5od had the internal slave.
all zf's that I know of were external.

Your also talking about a precision machined metal throw out/slave compared to our plastic slaves that we are using now which are underpowered in some circumstances.

They bolt onto the bellhousing William. =P

I like having the external slave in some circumstances. For a DD with a single disc clutch with no racing or any of that in mind, external all day. If you want to do something like shift quickly... internal..

Sorta, but not really.

Same concept, but it just replaces the Throw out like a throw out.
its adjustable and is a hydraulic cylinder.

no idea where to look.

I see them on the powerblock when I'm watching on saturday or sunday.

It looks just like a throwout with an adjustable collar.
The only other thought I have to that whole system, which they never really show you all of it, is that you put the actual throw out in front of it.

They dont really let you look them over really well on the TV.

Those are all bolt on styles.. They have to bolt to something in the bell housing.. It's not like they can just flop around in there.
