Eldebrock carb prices
I actually was shocked today: an Edelbrock #1407(750/man choke) from Summit is $239 and at NAPA the same carb was $229 NAPA BallKamp part # 735-3557. Too bad their price for a Performer wasn't better, it was $409. I did get the carb too, it's going on my nephew's '72 f100. He's 17 and his friends tell him there's no way any dumpy old Ford 410 will beat their awesome 350's.
...They also said it's a waste of their time to race a stupid Dodge with a diesel, but they'd flatter me by going for it and they will see the "dark side" from my tailpipe. Now I just have to get it out of the body shop(rear ended someone).
