Shouldnt there be a clamp on both ends of the rubber boot? On my truck the fuel filter cover wore a hole in the boot and it looked that, excep it was on the top side

P.S. not to be cheap but when my boot went out, i was pulling a 30ft gooseneck 300 miles from home. Stoped in Home-depot found a 1/2 thick pvc rubber quick connect, worked till in fixed the boot

Good catch benthere. Hope he took pic before replacing clamp.

CobraBern,

Also check the oil cooler for a leak. It is on that side of engine and below the exhaust manifold. The o-rings and/or mounting gaskets can leak.

Only pic I have of oil cooler taken while I was replacing the o-rings.

Can you get a picture of the inside of the IC pipe before you clean it again? That seems to be way to much oil for that area? Unless it's blowing out the block heater? Also have you check your PS pump to see if it's still full? I know my PS fluid was that dark before I flushed the system.
