heated mirror problem

I was wondering if anyone could help me out here. The rear dfrost/heated mirror in my 06 doesn't work. I can push the button and it comes on for a brief second then goes off. Anybody have any idea of where to start searching for the cause of this? Thanks.

You could try a new relay. If that doesn't do any good, then it's probably a wiring issue. It could be in the door where the wires bent every time the door is opened or closed. The Ford shop manual will give the exact diagnosis routines to save time and money.

Thanks for the advice.I will check the relay today. If that isn't the problem it will have to wait until warmer weather.
