FUEL PUMP HOW LONG WILL THEY LAST 7.3
Any idea how long the fuel pumps last on our 7.3's.

Having a spare pump and the disconnect tool is always a good idea. Fuel pumps are not prone to failure, but they do eventually die.

just changed mine two weeks ago 260000 mi early 99 no warning just quit. seems like a long life.

One on my excursion went at 120,000, then on my truck at 130,000.

I keep a brand new Motorcraft pump behind the seat.I found it on Ebay last year NIB and figurred it would be handy to have.

All of you got alot more miles out of yours then I got out of mine. Mine quit just 2 months ago at 86K
