The picture makes it hard to be certain, but those appear to be sealing rings. If so, you will be looking at a rebuild in the future

dude zf5 and never look back!!! my tuck is as diff as night and day!!! i have i a little work done on my old girl

but kicked it in the was yeaster day got all side ways and smoked 37 threw 3 gears!

i no glen auto are good at some ponts but every auto i have had has craped out on me, i tow a lot with my truck its always pulling some thing trailer with loader, dodge cummings, trailer with fire wood, chevy duramax, gooseneck with forms, not sure what are 35 foot goose neck weighs with case 450 skid stear case 1840 skid stear and newholland ec25, but dot would have a hay day with me!! lol other than haveing to down shift where auto did it i like the swap, gotta adress the brakes now!! lol is that what your camper weighs in at glen??? man its a moose!

A BTS is $3800 plus the 6.0 cooler plus schaffers syn fluid and arkansas tax comes to $4500 total installed. Most people don't know that price comes with $250 upgraded trans cooler. At least that's the price of mine a couple years ago. It may have gone up im not sure. I agree with Glenn manual trans are nice in cars but towing and plowing with them sucks. Plus it makes the truck so much slower especially with the long throws of the zf5
