SEFI 5.0 with a T5

You might look for a 86-93 Mustang 5.0 with a T5. The T5 could be modified with a S10 tail section or by mounting the Jeep T5 shifter. The clutch system on a Mustang is via cable which makes it more adaptable. Switch to a carb and an older style vacuum/centrifugal distributor.

Or an older 302/5.0 with a SROD top-loader top-shifter 4 speed transmission.
