my moms 01 escape with the 6 cd changer is stuck. it wont play the cds or eject them. how can we get the cd's out?

 

I have an '02 Escape and I had to take the CD player out of the dashboard,then disassemble the player - removing the cover. You will need either a removal tool from a parts shop or two ends of a wire coat hangar made into the shape of a "C" to remove the cd player from the dash. There is also an electrical connector on the back.Once it is removed just a few phillips screws to remove on the cover on the player. The procedures for removing the player are on this forum. I still have not been able to use my cd player and I don't trust it anyway.
