On October 1st i used a can of the lubromoly from my napa. i was hoping to help with wear and tear. I had a very odd but extremely awesome result. On the package it said it can help prevent blowby. It definitely did. As you can see from my vid on the intake, it was nil blowby. I tried replacing the intake back to the original to see if that was the cause and it was the same amount, nil. I highly recommend that on your next oil change that you spend the few bucks on a can to stop or at least reduce the blowby you may be experiencing. It cost me 5.99 at the napa here in canada so it should be same or cheaper for you if you are in the states. Blow by is a major cause of oil consumption and if you remember when i said i smelled oil in my exhaust, well after i did the intake manifold gasket, it helped but it wasnt gone. When i did this and let it work for three months, my burnt smell in the exhaust is gone and nil blowby. I will permanently be adding this to my oil changes.
