I have just bought a loaded master cylinder ( comes with brake booster ). Do I still have to bench bleed it? I am replacing every brake line also when I install my loaded master. So Im going to have to do a full out brake bleed. So is a bench bleed needed??
Going to do the install tomorrow.
HOPEFULLY this will make my "brake light" in the dash turn off..If not then the last thing is the darn perportioning valve
If you want to save yourself some time, I recommend a couple of options. When you have the new lines in and connected to master, open the fitting at the wheels, and let it gravity bleed for a while, keeping an eyes on the fluid level in the master. Then close the fittings at the wheels, and go about bleeding.
I take an ear syringe when I install new lines, and on the vertical lines, I squirt them full of fluid slowly, trying to fill as much as possible. The more fluid you can get into the lines before you start to bleed, the less work it will take to bleed.
