02 explorer transmission service
Hello, Im new in this great forum,
need your support, i would like to change the oil and filter for the transmission
i bought the haynes repair manual, however its not so complete, is there some available information of "How to" for transmission service?, some pictures...

Draining the fluid is just like any other rear wheel drive transmission. Unscrew the bug plug on the pan to drain, remove pan and replace the filter.
The filling of the transmission is a bit different though. In the center of the big drain plug is a small plug that you remove and pump fluid through the hole in the center of the big drain plug.
Then to make sure you have the correct amount of fluid in there, you start the truck and you know it is full when the fluid drips, not runs, out of the center hole.
