I currently have a 2000 v10 bone stock. I just picked up a tuff country leveling kit and f350 rear blocks. I also picked up a ranch hand style bumper off a trade and I'm concerned that the weight of the bumper will eliminate at least some of the benefit of the leveling kit. Ive thought about adding v code springs to the leveling kit to make sure it sits level after the bumper is installed but I wanted some opinions.
i havent decided on what to buy yet x codes or a two inch level kit. but i did buy a adjustible tract bar and i did buy one inch front shackle lift because of the add a leaf i had made for the rear. but after talking to allot of peolple im leaning towards the x codes with one inch shackle for the height and front payload ill get. i would install the lift and rear blocks add the bumper and wait a few months for the front springs to settle. then decide what or if you need more and goon ebay and buy a one or one and a half shackle from PRO FORM FABRICATION. i bought my one inch from them and love it
do you know if they are V code springs on your truck. Your truck looks exactly what i want my truck too like when all is said and done I'm just trying to get all the particulars.
No sir, those are not V-code springs, and that is a Ranch Hand Legend (heaviest bumper they make).
I am actually contemplating getting 4.0" blocks for the rear as opposed to the 3.5" blocks I put back there when doing the front end leveling kit. It sits about .75 higher in the front; I like the look quite a bit, but I think I would prefer it sit exactly level.
That said, the Zone kit is VERY good. Here is the exact link.
