good grab I'd say, in this part of the of the country (Minnesota) I think youd be able to get 1500 for the body alone! I really don't think it would even need to have an engine!

That has to do with your smog equipment. I would not take it off, but you can remove the plastic cardboard hose thing. I did and have always passed the smog tests. Neither of them go to anything, they ARE supose to just end like that.
1 is the inlet for the filter for the smog pump intake.
2 is the muffler for the smog pump bypass air (waste air).
That's exactly how they're supposed to look, but 1 should be bent so it points down. That keeps it from catching water when you rinse the engine compartment.
