Shock angle?

Hey folks,

I completed a axle flip on my trucks 9" rear and was wondering if anyone can help with the proper rear shock angle. I though about adding a rear shock cross member and adding the shocks there? I can try and add shorter shocks to the stock mounting points, but the angle now seems extreme, maybe 50 -60 degrees now. Im guessing.

Oh truck is a 1964 F100 2wd
