I just redid the top fuel filter canister replacing all hoses and new fuel pump.
I now have fuel leak under engine coming out of panel in front of transmission. The top of motor is dry.
What might be leaking and where do I look?????
you could check the fuel lines that run from the banjo bolt on the back of the fuel pump to the back of the heads... maybe something got bumped loose as you were moving that line getting the banjo out? That's where I'd start if the valley is dry...
I'd start with the end going to the passenger side head as that would be most likely if you are seeing it at the bellhousing. Sometimes, that metal line will crack or will leak due to rubbing/vibration. There are also 'sleeves' that make the seal at the head end of those line, inside the nut. they are known to have a finite lifetime.
Update
What I think is a fuel leak looks to be coming from I think the part that pushes the pressure plate. It has a tube coming from above and a cover on the engine side that is wet, also the rubber piece below it is soaked.
Could this be Hydraulic fluid??

Clutch hydraulics can fail anytime. Master and slave are both plastic, so yeah, it's not uncommon. What color is the fluid? Does it smell like brake fluid? Check the clutch fluid level in the reservoir on the master. Also, when the fluid leaks bad enough, the clutch won't disengage and the truck will creep when in gear with the pedal pushed in.
If it is the slave, it's a little more expensive but a LOT easier to buy and install a complete pre-filled pre-bled assembly (master, line and slave together). Most replacements don't have a bleeder, so you have to bleed it backward up through the line, and it can be a PITA. Besides, if the slave failed, the master is probably not far behind.
