I have a 69 f250 with a 390 in it. I have just got a 302 that is fuel in jected that I want to swap in. I have the trans and all of the wiring harnes that goes with the motor and trans. It is 2wd. I want to put headers on it but cant find any that fit this truck. I can find f100 headers for the small block motors but not f250 ones. So is the frame and all the same so f100 headers will work or not? Also is there any way some one can post a pic of motor mounts for a small block?
Thanks
Adam
I beleive the 302 started being installed in 1970 as a "G" code motor, but someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
Look for a post 69 G code donor truck and I think the I6 motors used the same, you will find the engine perches you need, the headers for the F100 should work as well, as long as you get a set for say a 1970 F100.

Thanks guys as for the mounts I have found them. Thats not going to be to bad. Headers I will keep looking. I know I will have another problem with headers, the 302 is fuel injected and has o2 sensers. I may have to relocate them down in the exshaut pipe.
[quote=jowilker;9827110]Get that big azz carb downsized and you should be able to stop that. Black smoke is unburned high priced gas coming out the tail pipe.
The smoke is from my F350 6.0L & I think it's got something to do with the Hypertech programmer
