my mbrp is 4" from the turbo all the way to the back of the truck. i chose to go without the muffler, so the exhaust shop credited me for the muffler and i think they added a small section of pipe that would cover where my muffler would have been

My truck seems pretty loud with the muffler, i like rolling down the windows and hearing the turbo whine out of my tailpipe.

my truck isnt really that loud without the muffler. now if im towing a trailer and pullin a good hill it gets pretty loud. A guy i work with has 99PSD as well, he did a five inch exhaust on his truck with a muffler the only difference in sound that i can hear is when we are sitting there idling and thats it. if you like to hear the turbo while your driving i would definately recomend no muffler.

Since I put my exhaust on I can hear my turbo more. Could that be because of the po removing the muffler and putting a 3" pipe in its place? They was choking the ol girl down

I don't want my truck any louder than it is. All my vehicles are loud and one is a complete head turner with everyone. Kinda wanna stay out of the sights of police with my truck although where I live doubt they would care.

yeah with no muffler you will be able to hear your turbo more and you might gain a little more power. as far as cops go i have never had a problem with cops and i have hammered the throttle quite a gew times around them. its all comes down to what you want to do with your truck
