Outside electric mirrors??
Can anyone tell me how to disassemble the electric outside mirrors on a '94 F150?? I want to change the RH mirror to plain glass, and add a bracket for a separate blind spot mirror. Thanks!

I've posted the exact procedure before, but basically you just tilt it fully inboard (not up or down at all) and pry the mirror out of the housing until the clips inside let go. As you're prying, you'll be able to see them before they release, and you can see the missing one that allows this technique to work. If you're afraid of cracking the mirror, you can reach in with a hooked probe & help the clips release.
You probably won't find flat glass to fit, though, and your field of view will be MUCH smaller if you do.
