I like Catsup, I do not like the tiny packages that require me to tear open 12-15 of them for my family table. What the heck (can I say that?) are they thinking?
Could you increase the Catsup in the package a tad Heinz?
True story: a coleague fo mine in the grocery business was talking to a bagger near the front of the store when an elderly man walks up and asks "where are the condiments located?". Before my friend can answer, the young bagger replies, "under the counter in the pharmacy". My friend and the older gentleman just roared. Seriously, I like mustard, brown mustard, ketchup and A1 steak sauce.
Originally posted by AOGDEN Don't forget the horseradish, nothing can beat it. Especially if it's home made.
AOGDEN, this may be an Upstate New York delicacy, because I have a hard time finding it outside our area. But you're right: there's nothing like fresh-ground horseradish, the kind that clears your sinuses and flushes your eyes! I had a great aunt that used to make it, served with a meal cooked on her wood stove. Oh, the memories!
I can remember standing in my Grandma's kitchen with tears running down my face grating it. I hated making it but if I didn't help make it I wouldn't get to help eat it.
I like garlic on everything but ice cream. My wife is a great cook now, but was not when we first married - our first major appliance was a stomach pump.

Yuck! There's probably not much point in even talking to you, pancake! Far too much "junk" in that kinda stuff.
However, for those connoisseurs out there, I recently discovered a product called "Volcano Spice" a friend of mine brought back from Maui, and it is apparently available in mild, medium and hot variations. It was developed, in fact, by a Maui chef.
I used the "mild" and thoroughly enjoyed it in blackening a variety of seafood and chicken. Also very nice on BBQ steak and grilled peppers. Even tried it in homemade French Onion soup.
Can't find it locally, so I've booked a trip to Maui in June and plan on buying a case of it......................honestly. Monsta, you gotta try it when you move! You'll love it!

ps: Horseradish is my other favourite, but only with roast beef.
I don't get horseradish as a condiment. If you put horseradish on something all you're gonna taste is horseradish. Why would anyone do that to beautiful beef? Salt and pepper.
Something like a hotdog, then I can understand loading on as many condimetns as possible, who wants to taste the hotdog? Not me, but I love the stuff you load on them.
Baked potatoes are the same way, they're just something to pile good stuff on. Ever try eating a baked potato with nothing on it? Yuck!
I like my food with good spices, but I like to be able to taste what the spice is on.

P.S. I'm a wimp when it comes to hot sauce, my brother can practically drink Frank's Hot Sauce, man that stuff kills me!
