Anyone running a skyjacker 6"lift on their 78-79 bronco ... just ordered one with the full rear spring kit and all accessories ... no adjustable trac bar tho. not sure if i'll need one. Superlift has one, not sure if anyone knows if it is compatable w/ the skyjacker( cant see why not). Not sure how to fix the sway bar lenghts yet...
I have the c6 , so hopefully the front drive shaft is long enuff...
Any comments or suggestion on install or pitfalls/complaints appreciatted
The adjustable track bar shouldn't present a problem if Superlift makes it. it still mounts in OEM locations as I recall. You just need to be able to compensate for the lift and keep the front axle centered. With 6" of lift I am fairly certain you will need it.
Removed the sway bars from my 92 and never looked back but some folks prefer to keep them for on-road stability.
Not as familiar with 2nd Gen. as I am 5th Gen. But I know the 5th gen. doesn't require drive shaft mods for anything 6" and under.
