Made a really big mistake. I swapped the cluster gauge from an early 90's bronco at the junk yard into my 95 F250, cause I wanted a tachometer. Ever since, I've had a dead alternator. I'm just realizing the gauge cluster is probably the problem, and I've already thrown out my old one. Before I head back to the yard though, does anyone know if I can just rewire this new cluster to turn my back alternator on?
Thanks
You need to solder on a resistor in order to provide current to the stator.
I don't really have the two here to compare in order to tell which trace controls what.
This has been covered before and an advanced search will likely provide the proper answer.
