instrument panel

would an instrument panel from an F150 work on my F250 of the same year? Im asking because i want a tach but would like to keep the stock apperence

If you are asking about the instrument CLUSTER then yes, if your F250 is a gas engine a F150 cluster from the same year will work fine. Keep in mind that unless you change out the speedometer PSOM, that is located behind the speedo head, your mileage will be shown as the cluster you swap in.
