Missing '79 emblem

Missing '79 emblem

I just purchased a '79 F350 Ranger Lariat Camper Special. On the cowl, it has the F350 Ranger emblem, but below that is a rectangular chrome emblem and it's missing the label that goes inside. What is suppose to be there and where can I buy one?

Also, does anyone have a factory '79 radio delete plate they would be willing to part with?

Since you say you have a Lariat the emblem would be the red "Lariat" emblem. You can get them from JBG, LMC Truck or NPD. They're around 30 bucks

Yep, I'm guessing you need the lariat emblem. I got mine from LMC.

There isn't one for any 1973/79 F100/350 / 1978/79 Bronco.

If the truck/Bronco came without a radio, the instrument cluster bezel is different. The section where the radio would have fit is blank.

XLT/Lariat examples:

D7TZ10044D70C .. Instrument Cluster Bezel-Burl Walnut Wood Grain / Use with Integral A/C, w/o radio.

There are another 10 of the bezels listed for non XLT/Rangers, but I'm not gonna type the part numbers/descriptions.
