Looks like the cold weather up her has finally blown the seal in the top of my power steering box, I have a spare box from an f150, Model # D9AC-AA. Will it work in my 89, F250, 7.3l Diesel?<o></o>
I Can't read the # of the box on my truck as they have rusted off.

Mine just blew a seal also and I'm currently trying to get the pit arm off. Its in this thread, you gonna repace the seals or the entire box??

box swap is easier when your in a jam you can replace the seals when its on a bench so you can see what you are working on then put it on the shelf when needed youll have a perfectly good one

Hay Guys,
Thanks for the info, I'm going to swap out the steering boxes, looks like a pain in the *** to swap seals. The old one is off and i just changed over the pitman arms as the 250 is heaver duty, another hour or so and i'll be back on the road. Thanks for the help and i'll let you know how it turns out. Great to have a heated shop, -40 here today with the wind.
