I was hoping to find a new connector body and move the pins over. If the internal connection between the wire and pin are good, there should be no harm in replacing the housing even with a used one. We replace cannon plug connectors all the time on aircraft. It would be the same.

Well $30 is cheaper than a new harness, will see what they are at the other link tonight.

When the connectors are readily available from Alliant --- there is no excuse not to use new ones.
BTW, chances are, I can find a generic connector (there are very few makers) that is priced moderately --- from 3M, AMP, etc.
