So I took my Bronco into the dealership for a 200000KM checkup. Got a whole lot of info back from them, but no real specifics (still waiting for the call back). Here's the list:
Needs new steering box (though it drives really well after I replaced it a couple of months ago),
Right motor mount is broken
Needs new power steering pump (replaced at same time as steering box)
Needs steering shock (dampner)
Ignition switch & cylinder aren't turning smoothly (they work fine for me!)
right lower ball joint
wheel bearing repack & axle bearings
left front hub loose
rocker cover gaskets leaking
rear diff & axle bearings (there is a rubbing sound in rear end)
rear driveshaft slip yoke
front drive shaft
Thermostat (replaced 3 months ago)
My thought is that they just listed everything that wasn't up to new standards, just to be safe. Anyone have any thoughts, or what I should be looking for myself? I've got an appointment with a different mechanic on Tuesday to go through it with me.
