You're going to like how your F350 pulls the 5th wheel! I can't say enough good things about how well my F250 pulls my 5'er. I installed Firestone Ride Rite airbags to reduce the slighlt drop when I hook up. My brother in law has the F350 and it works really nice with his 36' Fuzion 5th wheel.
I've been pulling rig with 04 F250 diesel. It's been a good truck, but tired of lifting things in and out of bed. Also, really close clearance between bed rails and bottom of 5th wheel. So, I just decided to go flatbed. I have to say I really dislike the detune on the chassis cab diesel. But my dealers' diesel mechanic says the new truck will handle my rig very nicely. Sure hope that's right a lot of money riding on it. Also, I decided to try dually set up and see if it's more stable in the crosswinds we always have here in Kansas.
Hey Str8shooter your rig looks really nice. I wanted a toy hauler so I could take my Valkyrie with me, but wife said she wanted more room if she was living in it for 3 months at a time. So, we compromised and I did what she wanted!!!!
If you check the window sticker thread here, I just right clicked on it. Then chose to open that address in a new tab. Go to the new tab and add your vin after the "=" . Your window sticker is in PDF format, then you can view it or print. My truck ordered on 15 Nov. scheduled build date 17th Jan. Go back a few pages on the 6.7 diesel engine thread and you'll find a post about window sticker.
Perfect pull rig - I wish the 4.10's were available in the pickups. I know Ford doesn't deem them necessary any more, but since I had them in ALL my past trucks (including Chevy) just seems wrong to have anything different!

Well, I hope it will be OK. My 04 F250 SRW 4x4 diesel did a really nice job of pulling my 33' Alumascape 5th wheel. I had 3.73 LS in it. I am very sorry the chassis cab is detuned to 300 hp. I never pushed my engine hard on the 04. Actually I was fine with the pulling power of the 6.0 just was tired of fighting the winds across I-40 from Oklahoma City to Barstow, and 58 between Barstow and Bakersfield. Our daughter lives in Alameda, Ca and we live in Kansas. Needless to say we hit wind somewhere if not everywhere between here and there so looking for more stabilty. I'm a 30 year Ford owner, but this is the first dually. I sure hope and pray I'm happy with the C/C version of the 6.7. I guess the only difference is the turbo and emissions system. Sure doesn't seem like that could make 100 hp difference, I guess I'll find out soon. At least I won't have to get a step ladder to get something out of the bed.
