96 F250 5.8L, question.

Ok my truck runs great .. never dies etc .. but when I lightly push the gas pedal the truck seems to start running rough and at a lower idle. Also when i'm driving, the truck shifts in to any other gear and the power drops for a couple seconds then the power comes right back.

Could this be a TPS problem? or O2 senser?

:-)

Many parts stores will pull OBD-II codes free now, so that's the first step. Make sure they clear the codes after they get them.

It could be a simple fix. Check wires, dis cap, rotor, and plugs. I had wires look new and have holes burnt through the underside thus causing spark-jump. This is very noticable when hard on acceleration. Hope this helps. Jake.
