earlier this week the dash lights behind my tach went out (fuses were ok) and so did the lights in the navigation/mileage console in the roof... i made an appointment at my local garage for this coming thursday, but just this afternoon i tried to use the truck and when i let the wait to start light come on everything went out and nothing on the dash comes on... thus she won't start or turn over. the interesting thing is that the brake controller and cb radio work just fine. any ideas on what is wrong? i pulled it into the garage to let it warm up (it is pretty cold here). could this have something to do with a short in wires since i was out on the snowy/wet roads this morning?
First thing Welcome to FTE,
How old are your Batteries? Cheak your connections (Clean & and reconnect them) and put a charger on then for a few hrs and try it and see what happens.
Thanks Richard! After I cleaned the batt terminals and put anti-seize on them (protection for the future) I let her sit in the heated shop for 3 hours and she cranked right up! Still takin it to the shop to get the dash lights checked out though. Keep on truckin buddy!

I'm not sure how well anti-sieze will work on battery connections. I always put a little dab of grease on mine.
