Gear Selector off by one.

I know it's not a big deal, but my gear/shift selector is off by one, and it's a bitch to put the truck in park. How do I fix this?

I always adjusted mine by manually putting the tranny in neutral with the linkage bolt loose and then shifting the selector into neutral.

Tighten the nut down and tweak it to fine tune it. Just make sure you aren't parked on a slope and have the wheels chocked!
