ok guys i need some help on arguing Fords interchangeability on another web page http://www.myoldparts.com/myweb14/disc14_toc.htm i know the windsors will swap back and forth and the FE's are all interchangeable and that a 460 will fit in place of a M when it is a automatic. please I can't think of any more and i want to make sure that I got a few things to bring to the fight
It all depends on what you consider "interchangeable".
Me personally? I think anything with a frame can have anything that I want on it...

I have never seen a training film produced by the GM corporation presented at a serious seminar or an automotive shop course however. 30 years ago when I went to autoshop classes in high school all of the films were presentred by the Ford Motor Company.
This also had an affect on my perception of vehicle complexity.
Seems to me any shade tree wrench abuser can cobble a chevy together, but a Ford is a bit more technically interesting.
