DP Tuner Issue

I just installed my DP Tuner F5 chip, and the truck started, i was letting it idle and get warm in stock tune, and the truck just shut off and now won't start. i am going to take everything apart, and start over, but if anyone knows what could cause this, your answers are appreciated.

thanks,

Sam

Make sure the cable to back of switcher is tight. If it falls off the engine dies.

What do you think was the problem?? I'm another one that taped the cable in plus drilled a hole thru the PCM cover so the cable wasn't bent awkward.

I had a similar problem but it didnt die, it would run fine. I could change the tunes but it made no difference in power. I didnt clean the connector with acetone, once i did that it worked great.

well first, the batteries died, so that didn't really help. lol. and then i went back and used ran my finger nail on and between every contact on the PCM and noticed there was some silicone left that i couldnt see. and then taped the chip in nice and tight, and re-installed it, and jumped my truck, and Tah Dah! now it runs beautifully.
