im in same boat.. been looking for one forever here in jersey. im a craigslist addict. i couldnt find one in time for winter... christmas week we got 23". so b4 christmas i broke down n bought a 92 f250 5.8 4wd 5spd. well taking care of but it idles high. paid $2400. on my way home from work yesterday there is a 1996 f350 like one posted its red with cap real real nice going for 8g... i dont have money now but man id love to have it...so yea. im saving for a diesel. use this as a trade in mabye.. worth every bit of $3500

i also own a 87 f250 idi 6.9. got a straight pipe exaust. but its 2wd has 4spd. 1st granny. having problems so i let my dad use it as his yard truck. he is a diesel mechanic of 30yrs. i grew up around diesels i live diesels... especially ford. i want a cc with a turbo 7.3. weather it b a 94 1/2' to an 03'. got a family now and in im the const. business so a big truck is needed. hell my idi got best of 21mpg... new gas trucks 2day cant even reach that.
